How to find us on AUM’s campus: Goodwyn Hall is the stand-alone building next to the library tower (see above). The gallery is on the first floor in room 101. Come see us and say hello!

The Gallery was endowed in 2020 as The Cason McDermott Art Gallery. It is named in memory of Fine Art Department alumna Cason McDermott (1995-2019). Cason was a talented visual artist and a warm and vivacious person. She graduated from AUM in May of 2018 and started graduate school at UNC Greensboro in Fall of 2019, where she was excited to study fine art and sculpture. While Cason is deeply missed by family, friends, and teachers, her memory lives on in the AUM Art Gallery, where her passion for art and AUM will continue to inspire others.
